Forensic Architecture
Eyal Weizman es fundador y director de Forensic Architecture y profesor de Culturas Espaciales y Visuales en Goldsmiths, University of London, donde en 2005 fundó el Centre for Research Architecture. En 2007, junto con Sandi Hilal y Alessandro Petti, estableció el colectivo de arquitectura DAAR en Beit Sahour/Palestina.
Es autor de numerosos libros, entre ellos Hollow Land, The Least of All Possible Evils, Investigative Aesthetics, The Roundabout Revolutions, The Conflict Shoreline, FORENSIS y Forensic Architecture: Violence at the Threshold of Detectability.
En 2019 fue nombrado miembro vitalicio de la British Academy. En 2020 recibió un MBE por ‘services to architecture’. Ha sido galardonado con el London Design Award (2021) y el Mark Cousins Theory Award (2024). Forensic Architecture ha recibido, entre otros, el Right Livelihood Award, un Peabody Award por medios interactivos, el European Cultural Foundation Award for Culture y el RIBA Charles Jencks Award.
Eyal se graduó en arquitectura en la Architectural Association en 1998 y obtuvo su doctorado en 2006 en el London Consortium del Birkbeck, University of London.
