Forensic Architecture
Eyal Weizman és fundador i director de Forensic Architecture i professor de Cultures Espacials i Visuals a Goldsmiths, University of London, on el 2005 va fundar el Centre for Research Architecture. El 2007, juntament amb Sandi Hilal i Alessandro Petti, va establir el col·lectiu d’arquitectura DAAR a Beit Sahour/Palestina.
És autor de nombrosos llibres, entre ells Hollow Land, The Least of All Possible Evils, Investigative Aesthetics, The Roundabout Revolutions, The Conflict Shoreline, FORENSIS i Forensic Architecture: Violence at the Threshold of Detectability.
El 2019 va ser nomenat membre vitalici de la British Academy. El 2020 va rebre un MBE per ‘services to architecture’. Ha estat guardonat amb el London Design Award (2021) i el Mark Cousins Theory Award (2024). Forensic Architecture ha rebut, entre d’altres, el Right Livelihood Award, un Peabody Award per mitjans interactius, el European Cultural Foundation Award for Culture i el RIBA Charles Jencks Award.
Eyal es va graduar en arquitectura a la Architectural Association el 1998 i va obtenir el doctorat el 2006 al London Consortium del Birkbeck, University of London.
