Timothy Morton

Timothy Morton es titular de la Cátedra Rita Shea Guffey de Inglés en Rice University y Director de la Cool America Foundation. Es autor de 25 libros, traducidos 51 veces a 20 idiomas, incluyendo Hell (Columbia, 2025) y Hyperobjects (Minnesota, 2013). Morton también es autor del libreto Time, Time, Time (ópera de Jennifer Walshe, 2019) y de numerosas obras artísticas, entre ellas We Are the Asteroid (con Justin Guariglia, 2019), Come Fast from the Dark (con Andrew Melchior, 2024) y This Huge Sunlit Abyss From The Future Right There Next To You (con Björk, 2015).
En 2018, Morton coescribió y apareció junto a Jeff Bridges en Living in the Future’s Past, dirigida por Susan Kucera. Morton continúa su labor docente e investigadora en Rice University como Catedrático y titular de la Cátedra Rita Shea Guffey de Inglés, y permanece activo tanto en la práctica literaria como artística.
