SCOPE OF APPLICATION
These terms and conditions apply to the purchase of tickets for the UIA World Congress of Architects 2026 in Barcelona (hereinafter the Congress), as well as to all activities organised within its framework, including institutional, academic, cultural and social events, regardless of the venue and the date on which they take place.
CONGRESS AND EVENT DETAILS
The UIA World Congress of Architects 2026 in Barcelona will be held from 28 June to 2 July 2026, and will include institutional, academic, cultural and social events, as well as an exhibition programme.
The main venues will be the Centre de Convencions Internacional de Barcelona (CCIB), the Disseny HUB, Les Tres Xemeneies in Sant Adrià de Besòs, the Castell de Montjuïc, the Sagrada Família and other emblematic spaces in the city of Barcelona.
The exhibitions linked to the Congress will take place between June and July 2026, on dates to be confirmed.
These terms and conditions apply to all Congress activities and associated events.
Note: The Organising Body reserves the right to modify the events, venues or timetables at any time, if required for technical, organisational or force majeure reasons.
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR THE TICKETS SALE
The acquisition of tickets for the Congress constitutes a contract between the user (hereinafter, the “User”) and the organizing entity.
The purchase implies the full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions, which are considered fully in force from the moment the User formalizes the transaction.
The User declares to have sufficient legal capacity to contract and guarantees the veracity of the data provided during the process.
AUTHORISED SALES CHANNEL
Tickets sales for the Congress will be made exclusively through the official online channels, accessible from the official Congress website: www.uia2026bcn.org.
These channels redirect to authorised sales platforms, including:
BiPeek operated by REED & MACKAY ESPAÑA S.A.U., registered office in Carretas Street 14, 8ª HI, 28012 – Madrid.
Important: The BiPeek platform is operated by third parties, so the purchase process is additionally subject to their own terms and conditions.
The Consejo Superior de los Colegios de Arquitectos de España (CSCAE) declines any responsibility for information found outside this website and not managed directly by our entity, so you should analyse the terms and conditions of these platforms, since the Consejo Superior de los Colegios de Arquitectos de España is not responsible for the hyperlinks on them.
The online sales service will be available 24 hours a day, during the period of time determined by the Organisers and publicly communicated on the website.
The Organising Body may suspend, temporarily or permanently and without prior notice, the advance tickets sale, for operational, technical or capacity reasons.
Tickets validity
Only tickets acquired through the Authorised Sales Channels will be valid, without prejudice to those issued directly by the Organising Company.
The Organising Company is NOT responsible for Tickets purchased through any means or channel other than the Authorised Sales Channels.
TERMS OF SALES
To attend the UIA World Architects Congress 2026 in Barcelona, which will be held from 28 June to 2 July 2026, valid credentials (‘Congress Pass’) are required.
There are different types of Congress Passes, including a Professional Full Pass, a Student Full Pass, a Professional Day Pass and a Student Day Pass or the Young Pass, each with specific conditions, prices and benefits. Each category will determine the spaces, sessions and activities that can be accessed, and may be subject to the fulfilment of certain prerequisites (e.g. presenting a proof of student status).
It is the responsibility of the user to consult in detail the information available on the official Congress website and the Authorised Sales Channels before completing their purchase, in order to choose the category that best suits their interests and needs. By completing the purchase process, the user declares to have read, understood and accepted the conditions, characteristics and limitations associated with the selected Accreditation category.
The Organising Entity reserves the right to modify, update or eliminate any of the available categories, as well as to adjust prices without prior notice. These changes will not affect Congress Passes already purchased, except in cases of force majeure or situations affecting the viability of the event, in which case the affected users will be duly informed.
PURCHASE PROCEDURE AND ACCESS WITH YOUR CONGRESS PASS
The Congress website makes available to the User all the information concerning the available Congress Pass categories (e.g. Professional Full Pass, Student Full Pass, Student Day Pass, Young Pass or other special categories), including prices, access conditions, requirements and specific benefits.
During the online purchase process, the User shall select the desired Congress pass category. The system will then display the final purchase price, including VAT or other applicable taxes.
In order to formalise the purchase, the User will be required to provide their mandatory personal data (name, surname, email address, etc.). In the case of the Student Full Pass, the Student Day Pass or the Young Pass, the User must also attach a document accrediting their student status, as noted during the purchase process.
Once the purchase has been completed, the User will receive a proof of purchase and, if applicable, an access code to the ‘Visitors’ Area’ on the website, where they will be able to find their Congress Pass. This Pass will have a QR code that can be presented at the venue´s entrance in digital format (on screen) or on paper (printed PDF). It is the User’s responsibility to ensure that the printout is legible and that the QR code or individual identifier can be scanned correctly.
Users acquiring categories, other than the Professional Full Pass or the Student Full Pass, Professional Day Pass, Student Day Pass or Young Pass, must pick up their physical badge at the Visitor Service Points set up at the Barcelona International Convention Center, CCIB and at the Disseny HUB. These points will be available during all the days of the Congress.
In case of loss of the physical Pass, please contact the Visitor Service Points located at the main venues.
The badges are personal and non-transferable. They may only be used by the person whose name appears as the holder in the purchase and/or accreditation process.
The Congress Organization reserves the right to request an identity document or passport from the attendees in order to:

Controlling access to the facilities
To guarantee the legitimate use of the Congress Pass
In the event that a user acquires multiple tickets, during the purchase process he/she is obliged to communicate to all holders of such Congress Passes (“attendees”) the terms described in these conditions, exempting the organizing entity from liability for this reason.
Finally, to complete the purchase, the User must accept the payment method (registration fees must be paid in EUR by Credit or Debit Card) and expressly accept the General Conditions and Privacy Policy.
These general conditions of purchase apply without prejudice to the rights recognized by current consumer legislation.
CAPACITY
Holding a Congress pass does not guarantee access to all Congress activities or spaces, especially in those cases where capacity is limited for reasons of security, limited seating or current regulations. In the event that the maximum permitted capacity is reached, access may be restricted without the holder being entitled to any compensation, reimbursement or claim whatsoever.
SERVICE ACCEPTANCE
Each user is responsible for providing truthful, complete and updated information during the process of purchasing Congress tickets through our website.
By completing the online purchase procedure, the user declares to have read, understood and accepted expressly and without reservation the Terms of Service, as well as the UIA World Congress of Architects 2026 Barcelona Visitor Regulations.
RESALE AND/OR PROMOTIONAL USES
Congress tickets are for personal and non-transferable use.
Resale is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate cancellation of the Ticket or Congress Pass without refund. It may also result in the denial of access to the event or venue, or the expulsion of the holder/carrier from the venue, if they have previously gained access.
Furthermore, possession of a Congress Pass does not entitle its holder or third parties to use it for advertising, commercial, marketing or promotional purposes, including prize draws, competitions, gifts or similar actions, unless expressly authorised in advance and in writing by the Organising Body.
Any improper or unauthorised use may lead to the cancellation of the access document, as well as possible legal action by the Organisation.
EXCHANGES AND RETURN POLICY
In accordance with the provisions of articles 102 et seq. of the Consolidated Text of the General Law for the Protection of Consumers and Users, the User is informed that they do not have the right of withdrawal once the Tickets have been purchased, as this is a service related to activities with a specific date of performance (art. 103.l TRLGDCU).
Consequently, no changes or refunds of the amount paid will be accepted, except in the cases expressly provided for in current legislation.
No name changes on Tickets or modifications to the type purchased will be permitted, except in those cases where the applicable regulations expressly recognise such a right to the User.
The Organising Entity reserves the right to alter, modify or reschedule the content, date, location or programme of the event corresponding to the Tickets, without this giving rise, in principle, to any right to a refund. However, if such changes involve the cancellation of the event or the legal impossibility of access for reasons attributable to the Organising Entity, the User may request a refund in accordance with the terms established by law.
In the event of total or partial cancellation of the event due to unforeseeable circumstances or force majeure not attributable to the Organising Entity, the User shall not be automatically entitled to a refund, except in cases where this is expressly provided for in current legislation.
When the refund of the Ticket price is legally applicable, the User must request it exclusively by written communication addressed to the email uia2026bcn@reedmackay.com Only requests received through this address will be processed. Cancellations or refund requests sent through other channels will not be accepted.
Users may request the cancellation of their entry and the refund of the amounts paid within 14 days of the refund. If the request is approved, the refund will be made once the event has ended, within a maximum period of one month.

Once the Congress started, you can also go to the visitor service points, which are signposted at the venues in the Centre de Convencions Internacional de Barcelona CCIB, Les Tres Xemeneies de Sant Adrià de Besòs and at the Disseny HUB.
LIABILITY
The Organising Entity of the UIA 2026 World Congress of Architects in Barcelona shall not be liable for any damages or losses of any kind that may arise from circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
In particular, it shall not be liable for:
Interruption or unavailability of the official website or payment systems managed by third parties.
Technical failures or errors in the payment systems provided by collaborating entities.
The transmission of viruses or other malicious elements as a result of external attacks or illegal actions by third parties.
The content, opinions or information published on websites not managed directly by the Organisation.
Similarly, the Organisation does not guarantee that access to the website will be uninterrupted or error-free, nor that the system will be free from faults arising from the operation of the Internet, servers or third-party technological infrastructures.
The user acknowledges that the use of the Tickets sales website is at their own risk, and undertakes to use it correctly, lawfully and in accordance with the provisions of these General Conditions and the Legal Notice published on the official website.

CHANGES TO THE WEBSITE AND THE GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The Organising Entity reserves the right to make any modifications it deems necessary to the official website, these General Terms and Conditions, and the services offered through said channel at any time and without prior notice.
These modifications may include, among others, the updating, deletion or incorporation of new content or functionalities, as well as changes in the design, structure, mode of access or display of the website. Likewise, the Organising Entity may suspend the operation of the website, in whole or in part, temporarily or permanently, for technical, operational or strategic reasons.
FORCE MAJEURE CLAUSE
The holding of the UIA 2026 World Congress of Architects in Barcelona could be affected by unforeseen or extraordinary circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Organising Entity. These circumstances include, but are not limited to: extreme natural phenomena (such as storms, floods, fires or earthquakes), armed conflicts, acts of terrorism, administrative or governmental decisions, legal restrictions, transport disruptions, strikes, health crises (such as epidemics or pandemics), disturbances of public order or other situations that prevent, seriously hinder or make the event unfeasible.
In the event of any of these situations occurring, the Organisation shall not be liable for any damages, losses or expenses that may arise for attendees, including costs related to travel, accommodation or services contracted on their own behalf.
Where possible, the Organisation will attempt to reschedule the event or part of its programme for new dates. If rescheduling is not feasible, the option of offering refunds will be considered, in accordance with current legal regulations.
Users are advised to stay informed via the official Congress website and its official communication channels for any updates related to this type of contingency.
The Organising Entity may modify this clause depending on changing circumstances or changes in the regulatory framework, without prior notice.
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ACCESS AND VISIT
SCOPE OF APPLICATION
The current access conditions apply to all persons attending the UIA 2026 World Congress of Architects in Barcelona, as well as all activities organised within its framework. They are particularly applicable to:
Users and visitors.
Any person or group authorised to use the Congress facilities for meetings, conferences, debates or other activities.
Any external person who is on the premises for professional reasons.
Some of the activities included in the Congress programme will take place in venues that have their own regulations. In such cases, these conditions will be applied in addition to the general conditions of the corresponding venue, without replacing them.
The Organising Entity reserves the right to modify these conditions at any time, as well as to deny access or request that anyone who fails to comply with the provisions herein leave the premises.
ACCESS, PERMANENCE, RIGHT OF ADMISSION
Entry requirements
Valid accreditation is required to access the Congress.
Congress Tickets are personal and non-transferable. They may only be used by the holder, who must be properly identified.
You may be required to present an official identity document or passport along with your Congress Pass.
Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. See section 5.c. for specific conditions of access for minors.
People with reduced mobility and their companions will have priority access.
It is mandatory to follow the instructions of Congress staff at all times.
Once inside
Your Congress pass must be retained throughout the visit and shown to Congress staff upon request.
If your credential is physical, it must be worn visibly at all times.
Holding a Congress Pass does not guarantee access to activities with limited capacity or those requiring prior reservation.
The temporary closure of spaces for maintenance or operational reasons will not give rise to discounts or refunds.
Access is at the visitor’s own risk. The organisation shall not be liable for any damage or loss suffered, except in cases where such damage or loss is the result of gross negligence or breach of applicable regulations on the part of the organisation.
Please respect the conditions of access and visiting rules at all times during your stay on the premises.
Egress from the venues
When leaving the Congress premises, do so in an orderly and respectful manner.
Always follow the instructions of staff in the event of evacuation or clearance.
Avoid causing inconvenience to neighbours and areas close to the venues.
Right of admission
In accordance with the provisions of Article 10 of Law 11/2009, of 6 July, on the administrative regulation of public entertainment and recreational activities, and Article 50 of Decree 112/2010, of 31 August, which approves the Regulations on public entertainment and recreational activities in Catalonia, the Organising Entity reserves the right of admission.
Admission to and continued presence at the Festival Venues is subject to compliance with the following Conditions of Access:
Compliance with the age requirements set out in section 5.c. Minors.
The Organising Entity reserves the right to deny access to the Venue to any person who behaves aggressively or violently, causes disturbances or riots, or publicly incites hatred, violence or discrimination, at the entrance to or in the vicinity of the Venue (without such behaviour having taken place inside the Venue). 5.d Unacceptable behaviour and conduct.
The Organising Entity reserves the right to deny access to persons who attempt to bring in, bring in, carry or use any kind of weapons or objects that could produce the same effects, such as sharp or cutting items, or items that are considered dangerous to safety; or any illegal substances. 5.f. Prohibited items.
The Organising Entity reserves the right to deny access to persons who show signs of intoxication or are consuming drugs or narcotic substances or show signs of having consumed them. They are in possession of or trafficking drugs or other narcotics.
MINORS
From 0 to 15 years of age
They may attend the World Congress of Architects. Barcelona. UIA 2026 provided they are accompanied by their mother, father, legal guardian or an adult over the age of 18, who will assume responsibility for them throughout their stay.
To gain access, the accompanying adult must complete and sign the ‘Letter of authorisation and responsibility for access by minors’, which will be available at the Visitor Information Points at the Centre de Convencions Internacional de Barcelona, at the Disseny HUB and at Les Tres Xemeneies in Sant Adrià de Besòs.
Children under 5 years old: they will have free access but must obtain a specific pass at the Visitor Service Points by filling out the corresponding form.
Children aged 6 and over (up to 18 years old): they must purchase an accreditation (Young Pass) through the official sales channels, with the corresponding price deduction.
Any action or behaviour by a minor under the age of 16 will be the sole responsibility of the accompanying adult, including any material damage or personal injury that may result.
The consumption of alcoholic beverages by minors is strictly prohibited in any area of the Congress. Failure to comply with this rule may result in immediate expulsion from the premises.
Between 16 and 17 years old
They may access the Congress and exhibitions without needing to be accompanied, in accordance with the Terms and Conditions.

Proof of age
The organization reserves the right to request, when necessary for the correct management of accesses and passes (Young Pass and Student Pass), the presentation of an official document that accredits the age of the User.
The verification will be carried out exclusively in order to confirm that the User meets the age requirements for the type of pass or corresponding activity. In no case will a copy of the document presented be kept, the organization being limited to visually checking the date of birth.
The assistant may prove his age through any of the following documents: passport, family book, ID or other equivalent official document in which his date of birth is recorded. In the case of minors, accreditation may be carried out by those who have their legal representation.
The request for this verification will be made only when it is strictly necessary and proportionate to guarantee compliance with the conditions of access or enjoyment of the service.
UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOUR AND CONDUCT
To ensure a safe, inclusive and enjoyable experience for everyone, behaviour within the Congress is expected to be based on the following principles:
Behave respectfully. All visitors must behave respectfully towards other visitors, staff and the material and furniture on display. No harassment, discrimination or abusive behaviour will be tolerated.
No harassment. Any form of harassment, including verbal, physical, or sexual harassment, will result in immediate expulsion from the premises, without prejudice to the legal actions that may correspond.
No discrimination. The Congress is committed to providing an inclusive environment. Discriminatory comments or actions based on race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, religion, or any other characteristic are strictly prohibited.
Interact appropriately with other people. All users must treat staff and other visitors with respect. Disruptive behaviour, such as shouting, aggressive gestures or refusing to follow staff instructions, is prohibited.
In the case a User feels the enjoyment of an event is being affected in any way or as a result of another person’s actions, please contact our staff immediately so that we can try to find a mediated solution. We cannot offer a solution once the event has ended.
In addition, the following list of prohibited behaviours and activities is established. Failure to comply with these rules may result in immediate expulsion from the premises and, if applicable, legal or disciplinary action:
Aggressive or violent behaviour is prohibited, as are any acts that cause disturbances, riots or incite hatred, violence or discrimination on the grounds of origin, race, sex, religion, opinions, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or other personal or social conditions. Such behaviour will not be tolerated if it poses a threat to public order or interferes with the normal running of the Congress or any of its activities.
There is no dress code for our spaces. However, the display of messages that incite hatred, violence or discrimination, or that are objectively offensive to human dignity, is prohibited. Visitors are requested to wear appropriate footwear to avoid injury.
Activities whose purpose is political or religious propaganda are not permitted.
Carrying out activities whose purpose is to promote any goods or services, or to attract customers, associates or affiliates, except in cases expressly authorised by the Organising Entity.
It is prohibited to consume or traffic illegal substances and smoke cigarettes, cigars, vaporisers and electronic cigarettes inside the venues and in the surrounding areas managed by the Congress, including the toilets, terraces, etc.
Entering or attempting to enter restricted areas, or areas where the type of Congress Pass acquired does not allow access.
It is not permitted to climb on fences, barriers, walls, security elements, or other structures or elements of the Congress that are not intended for that purpose, nor to engage in dangerous or risky behaviour.
Unless otherwise indicated, do not touch or interfere with objects or materials on display in the exhibition.
Animals will not be allowed access to the Congress venue, except in the case of duly accredited assistance animals, in accordance with current regulations. To access the venue with an assistance animal, it will be necessary to complete and sign a liability form, available at the Visitor Service Points at the Barcelona International Convention Center (CCIB), at Les Tres Xemeneies in Sant Adrià de Besòs and at the Disseny HUB.
Video recording or photography of any of the Congress activities and exhibitions for commercial or promotional purposes is prohibited, unless expressly authorised by the Organising Entity.
Food and drinks are not allowed inside the enclosure. For more information on this, you can consult section 5.k. FOOD AND DRINK.
Please cooperate with our staff and follow their instructions, which are designed to maximise the safety of the spaces and activities for everyone, including keeping corridors and doors clear at all times, and ensuring that all users can enjoy themselves.
PROHIBITED ITEMS
The Organising Entity may restrict entry to the premises by any User of any object that may contravene these Terms and Conditions.
In accordance with current legislation on private security, security personnel may visually inspect visitors’ belongings in order to prevent the entry of the items listed below and based on the legitimate interest of protecting the security of the building and visitors to the conference. If you do not allow the inspection, security personnel may prevent you from entering.
Glass objects
Furniture such as chairs (folding or otherwise), tables, parasols, etc.
Illegal substances, including controlled, dangerous or illicit drugs, or other substances considered unsafe for consumption.
Weapons or anything that could be used as a weapon or produce the same effects, such as sharp or pointed objects, or objects considered dangerous to safety.
Suitcases, bags, backpacks or similar items exceeding 30 litres in size, which may be left in the cloakroom provided.
Guide dogs and assistance animals are welcome. All other animals must remain outside.
Any type of vehicle, including bicycles, scooters, skateboards and roller skates, except those necessary for people with special needs.
Unauthorised advertising material or leaflets.
Markers, pens, paint or similar items, aerosol cans, or other containers of/containing gas.
Flags, banners, posters or other propaganda items containing (i) political propaganda, or (ii) religious propaganda, or (iii) discriminatory messages, whether based on race, gender, age, nationality, culture, religion, sexual orientation, or any other factor that may or may not be considered exclusionary, or (iv) defamatory, slanderous, aggressive messages, hate speech, or messages tending to disturb public order.
Cameras, tripods, or professional recording equipment without prior authorisation.
Items that may interfere with Congress activities or disturb other visitors, such as: (i) megaphones, horns or other similar objects capable of making loud noises; (ii) laser pointers or flashlights; (iii) firecrackers, flares, fireworks or other pyrotechnic items, etc.
Drones or unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
Any other object that may cause damage or disturbance to the public or interfere with other people present in the space.
Any other object that may be determined by the Organization.
BELONGINGS
The User will be solely and exclusively responsible for their belongings. Under no circumstances shall the Congress assume any responsibility for the loss, theft, deterioration or oblivion of the User’s personal objects. We recommend that you do not leave personal belongings unattended.
Cloakroom
The Congress will make available to the Users a cloakroom service in which they may deposit, under their exclusive responsibility, their clothing items or other objects allowed. The following will apply:
The Organising Entity IS NOT RESPONSIBLE IN ANY CASE for items left by visitors in the Cloakroom (including theft, loss or damage).
The Organising Entity does not guarantee that there will be space available in the Cloakroom or Lockers for you to leave your items, as space is limited.
For the collection of garments,
Users must go to the cloakroom with the tag given to them by cloakroom staff when they leave their belongings. Cloakroom staff will only give visitors the items of clothing that are properly placed in the lockers or on the hangers associated with the tag.
Users are strictly prohibited from entering the cloakroom area.
In the event of loss of the identification tag, belongings may only be collected after closing time and following verification. They may only be collected in the presence of security personnel.
At the end of each day of the Congress, any items not collected by visitors will be treated as lost property.
Lost items
The Organising Entity will make every effort to return lost items to their owners, especially if they are valuable items, identification documents or devices containing personal data or documents.
Staff will store lost items in a suitable place, labelled with the date on which they were found.
In the case of materials suspected of being dangerous or unidentifiable, the building’s self-protection plan will be activated.
Supporting documents will always be returned to their owners. If this is not possible:
ID cards, passports or identification documents of other nationalities: if no one claims them, they will be sent to the Mossos d’Esquadra (local police) within 10 days.
Payment cards (credit, debit, wallet): if no one claims them within a maximum period of 10 days, they will be destroyed. The destruction will be recorded with a photograph that will be kept for one year.
Valuables (mobile phones, laptops, etc.) will be stored in secure locations, and if the owner cannot be located, they will be kept for one month from the date they were found.
Clothing, umbrellas, accessories, etc. will be stored for 30 days. After that, they will be recycled, taken to a charity´s clothing container or thrown away.

Video recording or photography of any of the Congress activities and exhibitions for commercial or promotional purposes is prohibited, unless prior written authorisation has been obtained from the Organising Entity.
The Organising Entity may expel any person who fails to comply with the above obligation, without this giving rise to any right to a refund of the Ticket’s fee.

Authorised personnel may be present at the venue with cameras, video cameras and other professional equipment to capture images and sound, as well as the media. These recordings may be published or broadcast publicly by the Organising Entity or third parties through any medium, including television, social media and websites.
By accessing the Congress, you agree to be photographed, filmed or recorded, and you expressly authorise, without limitation of time or territory, the dissemination of these images and sounds for promotional or commercial purposes by the Organising Entity or authorised third parties, free of charge.

ACCESSIBILITY
Ensuring a comfortable and accessible experience for all attendees is a priority for the Organising Entity. The Organising Entity is committed to complying with current legislation on universal accessibility and to continuing to improve accessibility conditions at the Congress in order to reduce barriers and encourage participation by all.

TRANSPORTATION AND PARKING
Transportation to the various Congress venues, as well as vehicle parking, is the responsibility of each attendee.
In line with our commitment to sustainability and respect for the environment, we strongly recommend the use of public transport to access Congress activities.
ANIMAL ACCESS
Animals must remain outside, with the exception of properly accredited assistance animals.
FOOD AND BEVERAGES
Food or drink is not allowed in the facilities of the Barcelona International Convention Center, the Disseny Hub Barcelona and The Three Chimneys of Sant Adrià de Besòs.
Attendees will have several foods and drink stands enabled and operational throughout the event.
During the registration process, the User may indicate their allergies, intolerances, requirements or food preferences. This information is collected exclusively in order to provide more adequate and accessible gastronomic options during the Congress.
The organization is not responsible for the food decisions taken by the attendees or the possible incidents derived from the consumption of food, including those purchased inside or outside the premises.
VISITOR SERVICE AND COMPLAINTS
There will be clearly marked information and incident management points at the venues, where you can submit any complaints, suggestions or incidents. You can also contact us by email at: visitors@uia2026bcn.org
The Organising Entity will also provide official complaint forms at the venue.
CHANGES TO THE PROGRAMME AND CONDITIONS
The UIA 2026 World Congress of Architects will feature a diverse programme of activities, including conferences, debates, exhibitions, presentations, workshops and other cultural and professional events.
The Organising Entity undertakes to maintain the planned programme, both in terms of activities, schedules and participants. However, this programme may be subject to change at any time and without prior notice, whether due to organisational requirements, technical reasons or causes beyond the control of the Organising Entity.
Therefore, the Organising Entity reserves the right to modify, reschedule, replace or cancel any of the announced activities. Under any circumstances, these changes shall not entitle participants to a refund or reimbursement of their Congress Pass or the ticket´s fee.
As far as possible, any relevant changes that occur before or during the Congress will be communicated via the official website, social media and other official channels of the event.
Furthermore, the Organising Entity reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions when it deems necessary. In the event that such changes substantially affect the rights of accredited persons, they will be duly notified through the available means.
APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with Spanish law in force at the place where the Congress is held.
In the event of any dispute or conflict arising from the interpretation or application of these conditions, the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the Courts and Tribunals that legally correspond. All of the above is without prejudice to the rights recognised by current legislation to consumers, who may bring claims before the courts of their place of residence.
In case of doubt regarding interpretation, the Spanish version of these conditions shall prevail over any other language version.
