Presentation in CDMX – Mextrópoli 2025

The UIA World Congress of Architects 2026 Barcelona will be presented in Mexico City on 20 September 2025, at the Centro Cultural España, within the framework of Mextrópoli Festival.
As part of the journey toward UIA2026BCN, the panel discussion “Architectures for a Planet in Transition” will bring together Tomeu Ramis, representing the Congress curatorial team; Guim Costa, Director of the Congress; and renowned Mexican architects Loreta Castro Gabriela Carrillo and Carlos Bedoya Ikeda.
This session will delve and explore the central theme of the Congress, and also being an opportunity to learn about the open calls and various ways to participate in this international event—an initiative that, in 2026, will transform Barcelona into an international laboratory for contemporary architecture, sustainability, and related disciplines.
