The curatorial team of the UIA2026BCN Congress, represented by Carmen Torres and Pau Sarquella, took part this week in the Architecture Week organized by the Architects’ Association of Tenerife, La Gomera and El Hierro. During their presentation, they introduced the main conceptual lines and objectives of the upcoming UIA World Congress of Architects, to be held in Barcelona in 2026.
Before their intervention, Iñaqui Carnicero, Secretary General for Urban Agenda and member of the congress organizing committee, addressed the audience, highlighting the international relevance of the event and its key role in shaping the global debate on the future of cities.
Their participation strengthens ties with professional institutions and contributes to expanding the reach of UIA 2026 across the territory.
