Composed Quotations: Ornament as a collage

FALA and Point Supreme, treat ornament as a working method. The session will discuss how collage, historical references, colour, furniture, and familiar cultural signs are edited into projects to structure space and produce meaning.

The point is not to “bring ornament back,” but to define what it does now: where it sits between image and construction, how it avoids nostalgia while still using memory and taste, and when a motif becomes more than an effect and starts to organise the project.
