Maxime Delvaux

(Belgium)

Maxime Delvaux is a Belgian architectural photographer based in Brussels, working internationally. He collaborates with architecture practices such as Christian Kerez, Bruther, Baukunst, 51N4E, l’AUC, XDGA, MBL Architects, Arquitectura G, TEN Studio, and Central OFAAU, producing commissioned photographs of contemporary buildings. His photographs aim to show architecture and urban space with clarity and sensitivity, paying attention to spatial qualities and the relationships between buildings, context, and use.

Alongside commissioned work, Delvaux develops collaborative projects with architects, curators, and institutions across exhibitions, publications, and workshops that address themes ranging from urbanism to architectural heritage. These initiatives have been presented in international biennales, museums, and architecture centres in cities such as Venice, Brussels, Paris, Basel, Sydney, and Santiago de Chile, reflecting his interest in how architectural environments are seen, understood, and communicated.

His work also includes independent photographic series that move beyond specific briefs to engage with broader contexts, from interior spaces to historical and remote sites. Through commissions, collaborations, and self initiated work, Delvaux continues to explore the role of photography within architectural practice and research.
