Un Parell d’Arquitectes
Un Parell d’Arquitectes is an architecture studio based in Olot, led by Eduard Callís and Guillem Moliner, working from ground-floor premises open to the street. The studio’s practice operates at the intersection of diverse worlds and scales, encouraging exchanges between infrastructure and décor, the domestic and the public realm, and the city and the garden.
Their projects create settings that stimulate activity and narrate stories rooted in everyday life, shaping atmospheres through careful attention to space, symbolism, materiality, and light. The studio works with and reflects on architecture’s timeless values, approaching each project as an opportunity to connect lived experience with spatial form.
The studio’s work has been exhibited at institutions and events including the Centro Cultural de Belém in Lisbon, Aedes Berlin, and the architecture biennials of Venice, Buenos Aires, and São Paulo. It has received awards such as the FAD Awards, La Casa de la Arquitectura, BIAU, BEAU, the Simon Award, and the Girona Architecture Award, and has been a finalist for the EUMies Awards, the European Awards AHI, the AR Emerging Awards, and the European Prize for Urban Public Space, among others. The studio recently published the book Alot Olot: Arquitectura, paisatge i deliri garrotxí.
Eduard Callís holds a PhD in Architecture from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and teaches project design at the Barcelona School of Architecture. Guillem Moliner graduated in architecture from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and is a professor at the University of Girona and the Arts and Design School of Olot.
