Architects, not Architecture (AnA) and VELUX join forces for a special evening in Barcelona focused on the reuse and transformation of buildings. The world-renowned event series brings a unique format where three international architects—Winy Maas (MVRDV), Xu Tiantian (DnA), and Arno Brandlhuber (bplus.xyz)—are invited to talk about their paths, major influences, and key career moments.

However, there is a strict golden rule: speakers are not allowed to talk about their own projects. This approach allows for deeply personal, raw, and captivating narratives, offering a fresh, intimate look at the minds behind the architecture. This edition puts a special emphasis on how architects from different contexts and scales imagine, adapt, and give new life to existing structures, addressing one of the most urgent and relevant conversations in architecture today.

To provide the international architectural community with an intimate evening of personal stories, honest reflections, and genuine inspiration, fostering a deeper understanding of the human minds behind world-renowned architectural practices without the distraction of project self-promotion.
