PLOT is an editorial platform for disseminating the practices and ideas that shape the cultural field of contemporary architecture. It does not understand architecture from a purely disciplinary perspective, but as interconnected with the broad and complex system that constitutes the cultural production of contemporary societies. It is aimed at architects, designers, architecture students, artists, industry professionals, and all those interested in discovering the latest trends that stand out for their material and symbolic construction of this interconnected world. PLOT continues to believe in the value of paper as a space that legitimizes knowledge and as a powerful vehicle for exchanging ideas.
PLOT is idealistic and believes in the necessity and possibility of renewing arguments. It is interested in constructing meaning and proposing alternative paths to the pragmatic crisis that has engulfed criticism in recent decades. It engages with discourses related to history, theory, and criticism; technology, communications, and science; aesthetics, social responsibility, and politics. It finds richness in the variety of the global, in the transferability of singular sensibilities, and in the individual values that shape the collective.
With almost 15 years of experience, PLOT is a leading architecture magazine in Latin America. It produces and publishes in partnership with international editorial committees to generate new content in all its formats.
