Rewriting Territorial Metabolisms
Language: English
Simultaneous Translation: No
Reading territories as metabolic systems, the session explores circularity across landscapes, infrastructures, and regional economies shaped by long material trajectories. Through speculative futures, spatial analysis, and historical reconstruction, it traces how extraction, production, abandonment, and reuse reconfigure territorial systems. Linking bio-based transitions, brownfield reactivation, and nineteenth-century infrastructural models, it frames transformation as adaptive governance of land use and material cycles over time.
