Meeting point: CCIB headquarters.
Final Stop: CCIB headquarters.
Mode: By bus and on foot.
The AP-7, the Mediterranean motorway that in the 1960s —during the Franco regime and at the behest of foreign tourism—connected Spain with the rest of Europe, is a landscape in itself. Elements that seek to capture our attention stand out, such as the mural of the Tipel factory that Arranz Bravo and Bartolozzi envisioned in the early 1970s.
Next, a stop in Girona will explore the relationship between the rehabilitation of old dwellings and the perception of new ways of living, with Banyoles and the relationship with its lake as the final destination. The experience will be accompanied by examples of vernacular architecture, with the recovery of old urban spaces, but will also engage with the maintenance and the projection over time of contemporary architectural heritage.
