In a world shaped by the inevitable tensions arising from its many forms of coexistence, architecture holds a privileged role by creating spaces of transition.
By establishing a clear framework for an international educational network, the Charter for Architectural Education, developed by the UIA with the decisive support of UNESCO, provides a valuable resource for institutions wishing to share and engage in dialogue around their visions of a virtuous, global yet context-sensitive built environment.
The UNESCO-UIA Validation aims to make this network visible and to promote the values it embodies. Representatives of validated programmes invited to this conference will share their experience of joining such a network.
