The International Competitions Commission Seminar will present the work of the ICC while evaluating how a mutual understanding of the essence of architectural competitions is carried forward, serving both participants and clients.
In 1956, the UIA established standard regulations for international competitions in architecture and urban planning, subsequently ratified by UNESCO. Since then, UIA International Competitions have resulted in some of the most iconic edifices of the 20th century, promoting excellence in architecture, sustainability and cultural diversity.
