How do we shape everyday life? From intimacy to the art of poetry
Language: Spanish
Simultaneous Translation: Yes (English). Specific device in the same room.
From the surroundings or a building to a chair. Every decision, material and design scale has a direct impact on how we live and think. Home life, closeness, intimacy, well-being. Even poetry. How are these intangible qualities expressed? How are they perceived?
Through a conversation exploring architecture, design, philosophy, anthropology and psychology —including thinkers like Gaston Bachelard, Edward T. Hall or Henry David Thoreau— we will reflect on how everyday objects and the spaces we live in shape our routines, our relationships and how we understand the world, becoming an extension of us.
Architecture, furniture and people are part of the same ecosystem. We will explore the relationship between space, product and material culture, and reflect on the role of design in building more conscious cultures and spaces that are more than just habitable.
