Sessión 1 : From SDGs to Action: Architecture for a Planet in Transition

The session will bring together invited speakers and members of the UIA UN 17 SDGs Commission to explore how architecture can accelerate implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals.

Through keynote interventions and discussion, the session will examine how design, research, and professional practice can respond to the urgent environmental, social and economic transitions shaping our world. It will highlight the Commission’s international perspective and its role in advancing practical tools, knowledge exchange and cross-disciplinary dialogue, while opening a forward-looking conversation on the contribution of architects to a more just, resilient and sustainable future.
