Research by Design
TAKK is an architecture and research studio led by Luzárraga and Muiño, with offices in Barcelona and New York. Luzárraga is Director of Studio I at Columbia University GSAPP, and both partners have been guest professors at the University of Tokyo.
Their practice integrates feminist thought and ecology into spatial strategies, and has been recognized with awards including FAD Awards 2025, Design Vanguard 2024, Best Archilover Project 2023, and Temps de les Arts 2022 among others. Their work is held in collections such as FRAC Centre–Val de Loire, the Vitra Design Museum, the MAK Center for Art & Architecture (Los Angeles), and Design Hub Barcelona.
