Renaturalising cities seems to be an irreversible path in the face of the global climate challenge we have been confronting for decades. Increasingly, we are witnessing changes in this direction in the infrastructures that enable these cities to continue functioning as such, resulting in a reduced or even null climatic and landscape impact.
The route proposes visiting former infrastructures that have been reactivated with the aim of fostering coexistence between nature and the city; from landfills and riverbeds that have been decontaminated and transformed into parks or delicate natural spaces, to green coverings over the main transport infrastructures of the metropolitan area.
